Q & A:

Q1: When can I expect noticeable results?

Answer: The process is the same but the results are different for everyone! Some users notice faster results in as little as 4 weeks while others with naturally thicker hair experience a longer time frame for results. Anywhere from 4-12 weeks, but it's definitely WORTH the wait!

Q2: What level of intensity is right for me?

Answer: A great feature with our Silky Me Pro is the ability to choose your intensity level (1-5). The best way to know which level is right for you is to simply test it for any sensitivities. Keep in mind Silky Me Pro has an Ice cooling feature that does cool down the skin if you'd like to do level 4-5. We find level 3 is the most commonly used amongst our users.

Q3: Will IPL cause my hair to grow back thicker and faster?

Answer: Absolutely not! This is a common myth, but we can assure you that is not the case! :)

Q4: Should I be using a body cream after my treatments?

Answer: It's up to you! If you typically have dryer skin we would always recommend using a body cream to keep yourself silky & hydrated. :)

Q5: How often should I be shaving?

Answer: Our guideline is to shave before every treatment and of course in between treatments as well. The more treatments you do, you'll notice your hair grow slower and in less places. Soon enough, you'll be able to drop the razor for good!!

Q6: Is it safe to use on the face?

Answer: 100%! Just make sure to avoid the ears, neck and head.

Q7: How many years will my Silky Me Pro last me?

Answer: Each Silky Me includes 500K flashes, which is the highest possible amount (as of 2021) that you can get. It can last anywhere between 15-25 years.

Q8: Can I swim in pools after treatments?

Answer: Yes, our treatments are very fast and gentle. They will not effect your daily activities or routines.

Q9: What does IPL mean?

Answer: IPL stands for "Intense Pulsed Light" which is a technology that releases light energy, which travels down the follicle, safely heating the hair up along the way. As soon as it reaches the follicle, the heat is strong enough to prevent it from growing the hair semi-permanently.

Q10: How should I prepare for a treatment?

Answer: It's super easy! Simply shave the area you are looking to treat then you're free to start. Oh and don't forget to put on your protection goggles! 8-)
